Abstract

Analysis of social network composition and interactions versus SDSCA self-care behaviors. Diabetes-specific discussions and “very supportive” alters consistently linked to higher self-care across domains; mean support showed negative associations; composition effects varied (e.g., children/friends positive for total self-care; spouses/friends/siblings for foot care).
